Q: How is Lumineers ™ BY CERINATE® different than other veneer procedures?

A: Unlike traditional veneers, Lumineers used advanced contact-lens like material that is ultrathin. As such, Lumineers installation is noninvasive unlike other veneer products which must be fused or bonded to the tooth. Lumineers leave your teeth more structurally-sound.

Q: Is there any other Lumineers?

A: No. Lumineers can only be made from patented Cerinate porcelain that is similar to contact lenses. This revolutionary porcelain is crafted through a proprietary process.

Q: Do Lumineers hurt?

A: No. Unlike traditional veneer procedures, which require a large amount of tooth structure removal, the Lumineers procedure does not require cutting or grinding of teeth in most cases. Once the procedure is complete, there is also less complications and less chances of additional pain compared to veneers.

Q: I need braces but don’t want the unsightly appearance. Can I get Lumineers instead?

A: Usually, yes. Our dentists can evaluate your teeth and mouth structure. For most clients, Lumineers can replace traditional and cumbersome braces.

Q: How long will Lumineers last?

A: Up to 20 years. Clinical testing has proven that a Lumineers procedure done by a trained specialist can last and look great for up to 20 years.

Q: Can Lumineers be removed?

A: Yes. Since they are noninvasive and leave the tooth structurally sound, the Lumineers can be removed if necessary.

Q: Do I need to use a special toothpaste with Lumineers?

A: You should always try to use a low-abrasion toothpaste that will remove plaque, stain and tartar gently but effectively, while leaving the Lumineers (and your real enamel) intact.

Q: Can I eat sticky food with Lumineers?

A: There are no limitations to food choices with Lumineers.
